Reba Dale Chatman

Reba Dale Chatman 87, longtime resident of Beggs, Ok died in Tulsa on July 8, 2004. She was born in Wetumka, OK on August 16, 1916 to Jasper and Charity Syas Demery. Mrs. Chatman was preceded in death by her parents and husband Virgust Chatman. She had worked as a health provider and was a homemaker. Mrs. Chatman was a member of the Spring Bluff Baptist Church.

Survivors includeeleven children LaVirgust Chatman, Marcella Goudeau, Lindvel Chatman, Sophia Willie, Charity Chatman, Delores Brown, Martha Chatman, Randall Chatman, Laguitia Tate, Janet Wilson and Dwayne Chatman, twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 11 am at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs, OK. Rev. Robert Mingilton will officiate. Burial will be in the Beggs Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday 9-8 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs.

Casket bearers will be Charles Chatman, Colin Chatman, Donnie Goudeau, Chuckie Goudeau, Ronald Willie, Steven Brown, Derrick Chatman, Sherard Tate and Richard Henderson III.
