Daisy Louise Cole

Daisy Louise Cole, lifelong Beggs area resident, died Thursday morning, September 2, 2004 at her home. She was 61. Louise was born April 14, 1943 in Beggs to John S. and Lucille (Reagan) Williams. She married Norman Cole on May 26, 1961 in Sapulpa. She had attended Tolen Elementary School and Wheatley High School, growing up in the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church and in 1999 moving her membership to the First Baptist Church South in Beggs. She had worker in a garment factory and later Kwick Set. She was a member of the Eastern Star Golden Link 72 and TB Wiley Harrods of Jericho. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Williams and Lucille Williams Young, two sisters, Erma Jean Roberson and Geraldine Jones and a brother, Rayfield Lewis. Survivors include her husband, Norman Cole, of the home, four daughters, Sherry Irvin, Felicia Williams, and Trever Cole, all of Beggs and LaTisha Cole of Tulsa, a son, James Cole of Beggs, two brothers, Reverend Ernest Joe Lewis of Beggs and Sherman Lewis II of Edmond, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at First Baptist Church South with Reverend Maurice Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery with the Deacons and Brotherhood of the First Baptist Church South serving as casketbearers.
