Earlin Wilmar Crawford

Earlin Wilmar Crawford, 83, longtime Okmulgee resident passed away at the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2005. He was born on December 20, 1921 to Daniel and Alice (Letterman) Crawford. Mr. Crawford married his wife Betty James on March 28, 1948 in Okmulgee. He served in the United States Army and worked as a Postal Clerk until his retirement. Earlin was a member of the Second Baptist Church and loved to Bowl Play Softball.

His parents Daniel and Alice Crawford precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife Betty (James) Crawford of the home, a daughter Linda Baldridge and her husband Ron of Shawnee, two sons Mark Crawford and his wife Lisa of Dewar and Danny Crawford and his wife Ann of Bixby, Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one sister Joan Eaton of Okmulgee and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Second Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeff Vernon and Reverend Ron Baldridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1189 and #539 will be providing Military Honors.

Viewing will be on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM
