William Paul "Bill" Horn
William Paul "Bill" Horn, 81, of Okmulgee passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the local Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born August 30, 1922 in Okmulgee to Collier Earl and Bonnie Jeanette (Bryson) Horn. As a World War II Veteran he joined the Navy when he was 17 and served in the Pacific Theatre. He worked at Ball Brothers from 1949 until he retired in 1986.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Ann E. (Farrand) Horn of the Home and three sons Jerry A. Horn of Los Angeles and New York, David P Horn of Broken Arrow, and Randy S. Horn of Glenpool; one sister Norma Lee Glover of Tulsa and one brother David E. Horn of Okmulgee. Survivors Also include five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His parents Collier Earl and Bonnie Jeanette Horn and in 2002 his brother Eugene Horn preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Mr. Montie Kelse officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1189 of Okmulgee and VFW Post 539 of Henryetta. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Viewing will be Friday at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee from 10:00 am until 8:00 PM.
