Daisy Earline Lee, 78, of Mounds died on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at her home. She was born on December 13, 1925 to Winford and Virgie (Fox) Bolinger. She worked as a cashier for Samís and Budís Stores for over thirty-five years. She loved to garden, antiques and Bird Houses.
Survivors include her husband Verlin C. Lee of the home, two daughters Sandra McCollough of Anaheim, CA, Diana Haddock of Claremore, a step-son Randy Lee of Mounds, a step daughter Carlitta Denison of Collinsville, two sisters Billie Inman of Mounds, Laura Jean Smith of Bakersfield, CA, a brother Sonny Bolinger, five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Those that have preceded Mrs. Lee in death are her parents, a brother Bob Bolinger and two step grandchildren.
There will be a Chapel service on Monday, June 21, 2004 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs with the Reverend Dick Knox officiating. Interment will follow in the Mounds Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 20, 2004 at the Funeral Home Chapel from 1 until 8 PM in Beggs.
Casket bearers will be John McCollough, Jeff McCollough, Lester Adler, Randy Lamborne, Michael Heath and Roy Long.
