Wilma "Carlene" McCullar

Wilma "Carlene" McCullar, 56, wonderful daughter, mother and wife died suddenly on Sunday, December 26, 2004. She was born on August 28, 1948 in Waleetka, OK to Carl Lee Shores and Dorothy (Ritchie) Williams. Carlene was a generous caregiver and friend to all. She and her husband, Skip McCullar was married on January 26, 1995. She was a dedicated employee of George Nigh Rehabilitation Center, where she prepared meals for the staff, patients and their family members. She loved being creative in the Kitchen and was known for her fried chicken and biscuits. She loved horses and spending time on the McCullar Farm near Hannah. She was an active member of the Faith Baptist Church in Okmulgee. She loved her family and friends faithfully and she will be deeply missed.

Mrs. McCullar is survived by her husband Jessie "Skip" McCullar, her mother and father Dorothy and C.S. Williams of Okmulgee, her son Sandy McLellan of Okmulgee a son and his wife Steven and Julie McLellan of Franklin, TN, a daughter Jessica McCullar of Norman, OK a son Stacey McCullar of Aztec, NM a daughter and her husband Kisa and Kenneth Carpenter of Henryetta, grandchildren Dolton, Kiya, Kenley, Devon and Jessie Gail Carpenter of Henryetta and Zachary, Mason and Olivia McLellan of Franklin, TN.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am at the Faith Baptist Church in Okmulgee on Thursday, December 30, 2004 with Reverend Everett Lurch officiating. Burial will follow at the Hanna Cemetery at 2:00 PM under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.

There will be a time for viewing at the McClendon-Winters funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 from 11:00 am until 8:00 PM. The family will be at the funeral Home to receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
