Gladys Nichols

Gladys Nichols, 72, of Beggs passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. She was born in Nuyaka, OK on December 2, 1931 to Marshall and Rosie Lee (Davis) Nichols. She lived all of her life in Okmulgee County. Her parents, two brothers Leroy and Richard Nichols and a sister Pearline Jones preceded Ms. Nichols in death.

Survivors include her children which are her son Willie Holbert of Tulsa, daughters, Mary Young of Texas, Wallene Turner of Tulsa, sons John Turner and Joel Roberson of Tulsa, a daughter Deborah Stuart of Tulsa, Kenneth Nichols of Beggs, two brothers Marshall Nichols of Tucson, AZ and Bobby Nichols of Phoenix, two sisters; Verline Graham and Helen Buris both of Phoenix. A host of grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am on Friday May14, 2004 at the Beggs Cemetery with the Reverend Maurice Williams Pastor of First Baptist Church South officiating. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs.

Viewing will be on Thursday, May 13, 2004 from 9:00 am until 8:00 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs.
