Barbara Annette Pemberton

Barbara Annette Pemberton, 63, a resident of Henryetta, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2004 after a long illness. She was born in Healdton, Oklahoma on January 24, 1941 to Thomas Monroe and Ruby Elizabeth (Thomas) Turner. Barbara was married to Barry Pemberton in Healdton, Oklahoma on September 9, 1961. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Human Services. Barbara enjoyed fishing, sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Barry Pemberton of the home, a son Tom Pemberton of Napa, California, a daughter Lori Risley of Morris, a brother Ken and wife Shirley Turner of Duncan, Oklahoma, two grandchildren Cheyenne Risley and Colton Risley and a aunt Betty and Ken Byram of Duncan, Ok and uncle Willie Thomas of Glenco, Wyoming.

Funeral services will be at 11 am. Thursday, January 6, 2005 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Morris. Rev. David Hamilton will officiate.

Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
