James Carey Pinneo
James Carey Pinneo, 66, a resident of Okmulgee, Went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 01, 2004. James Pinneo was born January 24, 1938 to Arthur M. and Opal (Carey) Pinneo in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. On April 2, 1960 he married Nancy (Osmond) Pinneo. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1956 and Northeastern State University in 1960. He recently retired from an electrical contracting business. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Okmulgee, being baptized into Christ on May 25, 1947.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Pinneo, two sons James Pinneo Jr. and wife Lisa of Tulsa, Mark Pinneo and wife Leslie of Clarksville, Tennessee, one daughter, Jill Alcala and Husband Juan Carlos, of Tulsa, Seven Grandchildren Matthew, Kara, Jessie, Kelli, Antonio, Isabel, and Bobby, one Brother Jerry Pinneo, of Okmulgee One sister Janice Moody of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and his parents Arthur and Opal Pinneo of Okmulgee.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee, OK with Dr. Dennis Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
Casketbearers will be Roy Anderson, Robert Simmons, David McClure, Rollyn Kring, Dwayne Ellig and Henry Stone.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 8:00 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee.
