Geneva Taylor, 86, died Friday evening, December 17, 2004 at Rebold Manor. She was born August 1, 1918 in Proctor, Oklahoma to Dee and Hattie (Taylor) Mode. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, George Dawson and George Taylor, two sons, Kenneth Dawson and Richard Dawson, and a brother Cleo Mode. Survivors include three daughters, Betty Taylor and husband Jim of Preston, Pat Miller and husband Church of Lakewood, California, and Dianna Milligan and husband Ron of Preston, a son, Gary Dawson of Sand Springs, two sisters, Mildred Ramirez of Chico, California, and Jean Cartwright of Yorba Linda, California, three brothers, Floyd Mode of California, Marce Mode of Chandler, Arizona, and Bill Mode of Poteau, Oklahoma, nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Eddie McElhannon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
