Leonard Ray Berryhill

Leonard Ray Berryhill, Okmulgee, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2007 in Tulsa at the age of 57. He was born January 31, 1949 to William and Eliza Berryhill. Leonard was employed at George Nigh Rehabilitation in Okmulgee and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Bruce Berryhill and two grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Rosie Lee Berryhill of the home, five daughters, Summer Berryhill, Sherry Walton-Berryhill and Penny Gibson, all of Okmulgee and Josephine Walton and Geneva Rabbit, both of Muskogee, his mother, Eliza Berryhill of Bristow, three brothers, Lindell Berryhill of Bristow, Donald Berryhill of Broken Arrow, and Tommy Berryhill of Ford City, Arkansas, five sisters, Carol Pendergrass of Beggs, Diane Rex of Okemah, Janice Bryan of Perkins, Freda McGinley of Stillwater and Rosie Berryhill of Henryetta, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Wake services will be held at 7:00-9:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 and funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2007 all at the Belvin Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Tallahassee Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
