GENEVA (KING) BEST
Geneva Best of Morris passed
away April 12, 2005 at Rebold Manor in Okmulgee. She was born October 9, 1934 at
Pharoah, Okla. to Corbit and Katie King. She was raised around Weleetka and
Okfuskee.
She loved to play bingo, play games and listen to music. She was preceded in
death by her husband Lawrence Best of Wetumka, her parents, 1 daughter, 1 great
grandchild, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Survivors include 3 sons Danny Dalton and wife Tammy of Wetumka, Ernest Best of
Ardmore and James A. Best of S. Carolina; 4 daughters, Debra White of Florida,
Karion Park of Newcastle, Jonell Hagy and husband Garry Hagy of Morris and Edith
Dalton of Morris; one sister Karion Dunn and husband Bill of Okmulgee, and one
brother Ray King of Okmulgee.
Thirteen grandchildren: Kimberly Dalton of New York, Angel Nelson and husband
Jerry of Alabama, Michelle Green and husband Buddy Green of Morris, Angie Dalton
of Meeker, Ashley Sparks of Morris, Kenney Dalton and wife Bridget of Ada, Buddy
and Allen Best of S. Carolina, Nicholas Best of Ardmore, Kristel Hagy of Morris,
Tiffany Crenshaw of Oklahoma City, and Josh Woods and Garrett Neese of Wetumka.
Also 11 great grandchildren and one on the way and a host of nieces, nephews and
friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will be at Wetumka Cemetery in Wetumka, Okla. under the
direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Pallbearers will be Edgar Best, Billy Dunn, Thomas Dunn, Ricky Crenshaw, Buddy
Green, Raymond King, Danny Dalton and John King. Services will be conducted by
Bro. Darrell Seeley of Wetumka.
