Maxine Bolding
Maxine Bolding, longtime Okmulgee
resident, died Saturday morning, October 4, 2008 in Sapulpa at the age of 79.
She was born August 1, 1929 in Bald Hill to Arlee James and Pearlee (Kelley)
Tolbert. She worked for many years at the Days Inn in Okmulgee and later retired
as the manager of the El Rancho Motel. She married Tommy Bolding on October 30,
1976 in Miami, Oklahoma. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, three
brothers, Ellis, Jimmy and Bobby Tolbert and two sisters, Imogene Agee and Susie
Ewell. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Bolding, of the home, daughters,
Lisa Summers and Jeanna Summers, both of Okmulgee, and Vicky Swalley and husband
David of Delaware, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Sean and Crystal Davis, both of
Okmulgee, John William and Justin Swalley, both of Delaware, Oklahoma, and Tonya
Lemon and husband William of Delaware, Oklahoma, great grandchildren, Natalie
Smalley and Dakota, Jessie, Austin and Brianna Lemon, step children, Buster
Bolding of Sapulpa and Debbie Bolding of Bristow and step granddaughter, Tiffany
Bolding of Sapulpa.
Graveside rites will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 9,
2008 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Richard Kerr of the Trinity Baptist
Church officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 12-8
