Mary Lou Bonham

Mary Lou Bonham, Okmulgee resident, died February 19, 2008 at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 85. She was born September 18, 1922 in Okmulgee to George Franklin " Frank" Davis and Trilvy (Berry) Davis. She lived for many years in Prescott, Arizona and Dallas, Texas before returning to Okmulgee in 1980. Mrs. Bonham was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Okmulgee. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Franklin Skelton, husband, George Bonham and a brother, Watson Davis. Survivors include her sister, Lily Mae Kiser and husband Gene of Okmulgee, a brother, Wesley "Buddy" Davis of Okmulgee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Second Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Eddie Ausbrooks, Dwayne Ausbrooks, Carl Martin, Patrick Couch, Chris Couch and Jim Pappas. Friends may visit the funeral home 12-8 P.M. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Baptist Church of Okmulgee. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
