Lawrence Louis Bonham II

Lawrence Louis Bonham II, 54, of Beggs passed away Friday, March 21, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Mr. Bonham was born December 9, 1948 to Lawrence Louis and Betty Lou (Lee) Bonham in Okmulgee, OK. He later married Edyth Louise (Deeds) Bonham. Mr. Bonham served his country in the United States Army for 11 years. Louis worked as a Rural Mail Carrier out of Okmulgee. He enjoyed farming with his dad, working on cars; he liked to work security at different music events and Tulsa County Fair. Most of all he was a family man and loved to spend time with his family.

Those that preceded Mr. Bonham in death are two brothers Everett Eugene Bonham, Lee Livingston Bonham, Paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Bonham, Maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lee.

Survivors include His wife Edyth Bonham of the home, his parents Lawrence L. and Betty Lou (Lee) Bonham. Three children Helen Louise Hurst of Beggs, Lawrence L. Bonham III of Broken Arrow, Sara Jayne Bonham of Tulsa, five grandchildren, a brother Michael J. Bonham of Beggs, six nieces and three nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs with Reverend Robert Yandell officiating. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery with the VFW Post #1189 of Okmulgee and VFW Post #539 of Henryetta performing Military Rites. Burial is under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.

Visitation will be Monday from 12noon until 8:00 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs.

Casketbearers will be Bill Culbert, Roy Griffin, John Bell, Ronnie Green, Angelo Guerrieri and Gary Jobe.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Hospice in Tulsa.
