Loretta P. Branson

Loretta P. Branson, a resident of Beggs, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 93 years of age. Mrs. Branson was born July 16, 1914 near Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She owned and operated Loretta’s Beauty Salon for thirty years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy (Compton) Farrice, her husband, Howard Branson, a son, Barry Branson, a daughter, Barbara Hieronymus, three sisters, Erma Holt, Tyreon Lollis, and Murle Butler, and three grandsons. Survivors include her daughters, Loretta Endres and husband Charles of Tulsa and Rita Branson of Beggs, a sister-in-law, Aubra Branson of Meade, Kansas, thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday. December 3, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with her grandson, John Branson officiating. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Nathan Rainey, Justin Rainey, Larry Branson, Michael Reed, Tyler Wakefield and Aaron Williams. Friends may visit the funeral home from 1-8 PM on Sunday and the family will receive friends from 2-4 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
