Shane Allen Branson, infant son of Gene Allen and Jessica "Cali"

(Woodruff) Branson was born in Tulsa on January 13, 2007. Shane was baptized at St. John’s Hospital January 24, 2007 and transferred to Nebraska Medical Center on March 5, 2007.

Shane briefly entered our lives, touched our hearts, and went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2007 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Survivors include his parents, his two sisters Kailee Jade and Brooke Lynn Branson, ages 2 years and 1 year; grandparents Gene Branson of Wilson, Harvey and Carolyn Torix of Okmulgee, Raymond (Bo) Woodruff of Dustin, Marty and Debbie Van Ryn, Fresno, California. His great grandparent Dorothy Cox of Okmulgee, Sam and Charlene Trulove of Dustin, Jewel and Judy Overstreet of Eldorado, Arkansas, Joyce and Darrell Watkins of Fresno, California and Karl and Terry Van Ryn of Fresno, California.

Three paternal aunts Johnnie Branson of Okmulgee, Kathy Buller of Bixby, Shelly Ladden of McComb, MS, and uncle Aaron Torix of Eldorado, KS, and Godfather Shane Bodey of Elk City, also survive Shane. Maternal aunt and uncles are Sara Frederick, Matthew Woodruff, and Dustin Woodruff, all of Fresno, California.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, may 31, 2007 at 2 pm at McClendon-winters Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Vance officiating with a special Creek song by Rusty Powell. Interment will be in the Wilson Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 30^th. Visitation with the family will be after the funeral at Creek Nation Elderly Housing on May 31^st.

Honorary Pallbearers are Shane Body, Matt Guines, great uncle Rufus (buddy) Cox, Jr. McClendon-Winters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
