James Daniel (Goose) Brown

James Daniel (Goose) Brown 42, a resident of Okmulgee, died as a result of a car accident in Okmulgee on Friday, December 28, 2007. Goose was born in Claremore on December 30, 1964 to Carl Hurd and Phyllis Kaye Brown. He worked construction. His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children; Jennifer Beth Brown of Weleetka, Ok, Joseph Alan Brown of Okemah, Ok, Brandon Kirk Brown of Okemah, OK, Mia Faye Brown of Okemah, OK, Isla Seth Maxwell of Okemah, OK, and Chelsie Marie Dickerson of Okmulgee, OK, two sisters; Felicia Ashburn of Natura, OK, Geri Brown of Shawnee, a brother; Clifford Lynn Brown of Okmulgee, two grandchildren; Mary Lorrain Whiteshirt of Shawnee, OK and Julius Richard Buckley of Weleetka, Ok.

Wake services will be on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at 7 pm at the Belvin Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, at 2 pm at the Belvin Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Berryhill officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Jo Grayson, Nolan Grayson, Danny Jo Cobb, Billy Hamilton, Keeper Johnson Jr., Lance Ashburn, Charles Taylor, and Jamie Stewart Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Patrick Dickerson, Brandon Kirk Brown, Benjamin Charles McClellan, Darrell Wayne Tarpaleechee, Robert Scott Brown, Fredrick Elliot Brown, and Christopher Martin Torres.
