Keith Barry Campbell

God sent Keith Barry Campbell to Glenn and Mary Lou Campbell on September 19, 1966 and after a sixteen-year battle with ulcerative colitis and a short colon cancer battle, on January 5, 2004 Keith went on home to be with God.

Keith was a graduate of Okmulgee High School in 1984 and received an Associate Degree in computer information systems from OSU-Okmulgee in 1991. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. In 1985 he experienced five skydives to his credit. He earned the Arrow of Light, which is the highest achievement in Cub Scouts with Troop 6 of Okmulgee. Keith loved the game of Hockey and would spend many evenings watching them and attending games when he could.

He is survived by his parents Glenn and Mary Lou Campbell of Okmulgee and a sister Valerie Kathleen Villacis of Houston, TX. His paternal grandparents Thomas and Celine Campbell and several aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Elmer and Irene Hood and a cousin Mike Lewis.

Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee on Tuesday January 6, 2004 from 12 noon until 8:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the First Assembly of God in Beggs Oklahoma on Wednesday January 7, 2003 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Robert Yandell officiating. Interment will follow in the Flynn Cemetery Near Cushing, Oklahoma.

Casketbearers will be Clay Campbell, Curtis Campbell, David Campbell, Dusty Sweeney, Jason Hood, Mason Hacker, Arron Hacker, Mike Howell.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Kenny Gibeons and Mike Morgan.

Keith’s parents request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Chrones and Colitis Foundation of America, Oklahoma Chapter
