Wilfreda Robbins Campbell
Wilfreda Robbins Campbell, longtime Okmulgee resident, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 2003 at Rebold Manor. She was 89 years of age. Mrs. Campbell was born January 11, 1914 in Carthage, Missouri to Wilfred and Myrtle (Mealy) Robbins. She graduated from Okmulgee High School and later married Clifford James Campbell on June 28, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Okmulgee. Preceding her in death was her parents, husband, two brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Brooks of Norman, and Donna Parsons and husband Terry of Okmulgee, four grandchildren, Sheila Parsons of San Francisco, California, Jeff Parsons of Wichita, Kansas, Dustin Brooks and Cody Brooks, both of Norman, and a cousin, Dick Baker and wife Mary Lou of Tulsa.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Rebold Manor and Plantation House for all of their compassion and outstanding care.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 1, 2003 at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jeff Cranton officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
