Albert Ben Canada

Albert Ben Canada 86, died on Sunday, September 25, 2005 in the Oklahoma Veterans Home in Talihina, Oklahoma. He was born on September 1, 1919 in Francis, Oklahoma to Grover C. and Nora (Prince) Canada. Mr. Canada was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Parker construction Company in Morris, Oklahoma until his retirement. His parents, a son, Bobby Canada and a brother, Herbert Canada preceded him in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Smith of Portland, Oregon, Carol and husband Lum Newberry of Beggs and Lucky and husband Jack Matthews of Porum, Oklahoma, one son, Jimmy Canada of Kent Washington, one brother Fred Canada of Arkansas, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September29, 2005 at the McClendon-Winters Chapel at 10am. Rev. David Hamilton will officiate. Burial will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Viewing will be on Wednesday, 10-8 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
