Edward Coverdill

Edward Leray Coverdill, formerly of Okmulgee, died in San Bernardino, California on June 27, 2008. He was born June 1, 1961 in Okmulgee to Edward Glen Coverdill and Juanita Nadine (Wood) Coverdill. He had lived in Okmulgee until 2002, when he moved briefly to Nebraska then to California. He greatly enjoyed cooking. Preceding him in death were his mother and a sister, Regina Paulette Coverdill. Survivors include his father, Edward Coverdill of Okmulgee, a sister, Lori K. Blades and husband Cory of Okmulgee, a brother, Floyd Coverdill and wife Danielle of Council Bluffs, Iowa and cousins, Vickie Bell of Wichita Falls, Texas and Robert Ray Bell of Lake Charles, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Pastor Timothy Reeves officiating. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
