"Dignity without compromise"


Rhonda Kay Dearmore-Jacobs, born December 24, 1957, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX after enduring many medical challenges with cancer. She resided in Liberty-Morris/Okmulgee area for many years, working 27 years for the Ball-St. Gobain Glass Plant. When Ball closed its doors, she transferred with the company to continue her work in Louisiana. She was a beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and grandmother. She delighted in her grandson and was the happiest when she was with her family cooking up a big country meal and gardening. Besides her loving parents, James R. and Jerolene Dearmore and grandmother, Marie Slape, she is survived by daughters Alicia Bell and husband Gary and Jennifer Jacobs, brothers Russell Dearmore and Jay Dearmore, and her pride and joy grandson Henry Bell a niece Cara Dearmore as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2002 at the Liberty Baptist Church in Liberty Morris with Pastor Jeff Ward Officiating and Mr. Alvin Dearmore assisting. Interment will follow at the Council Hill Cemetery in Council Hill, OK under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.

There will be visitation at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee on Friday, September 27, 2002 from 6pm until 8:00 pm.

Casketbearers will be Gene Denney, Danny Cox, Richard Dixon, Randy Jacobs, Doyle Dixon and Alvin Dearmore.

An Honorary casketbearer will be Alvin Dearmore Jr.
