Tom Dean Deere

Tom Dean Deere, 70, a resident of Okmulgee, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at his home. He was born March 21, 1936 in Okfuskee to Isaac and Selee (Roberts) Deere. He retired from Texas Instruments as a machinist. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eunice Deere. Survivors include his son, Tommy Dean Deere of Okmulgee, daughters, Susan DeAnn Ellis of Wetumka and Sandra Deneen Deere of Okemah, brothers, Sammy Dean Deere of Longview, Texas and Wilson Deere of Hectorville, a sister, Loumae Messer of Okmulgee, grandchildren, Crystal Naigin, Edward Dean Ellis, Michael Edward Deere, Andrew Robert Ellis, Candace Marie Deere and Ashley Deann Ellis and a great granddaughter, Lauren Madison Naigin. A wake service will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday evening and a funeral service at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, both at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Nuyaka Indian Baptist Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Casketbearers will be Raymond Lowe, Rusty Lowe, Frank Sanders, Robbie Roberts, Tuffy Roberts, M.A. Proctor, Ronnie Proctor and Freman Lowe.
