Lorene Helen DeMaris

Lorene Helen DeMaris 76, a resident of Beggs, died in Tulsa on Friday, June 6, 2008. She was born September 14, 1931 to Joseph and Josephine Orsak at Bredlaw, Texas. She had worked as a waitress. Lorene was a member of the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society. Her parents, four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include her two daughters; Kathy Shows of Yoakum, Texas and Jamie DeMaris of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, one granddaughter; Sophia DeMaris Harris of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, four grandsons; Stephen Sprague, Beggs, Aaron Sisson, Poplar Bluff Mississippi, Jason and Jeramy Shows, Yoakum, Texas and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her favorite niece and nephew\Texas and Bennie Ray Gasper of Waskom, Texas.

Services will be held on Wednesday, 6 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs. Fr. Benjamin Vima will officiate. There will be no viewing.
