William Earl Dial 82, longtime resident of Okmulgee died in Okmulgee on Friday, March 09, 2007. He was born in Hamilton County, Illinois on May 13, 1924 to Jefferson and Anna Alice (Hullstuter) Dial. He was a retired Security Officer for the State of Illinois. Bill was also a veteran on the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include two daughters Diane Bowles and Sandra Slankard both of Illinois, five stepdaughters Kath Bennett; sue Grogan, Laura Hefley, Judy Benedict and Linda Eckman and two stepsons Richard Williams and Ed Williams.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, at 11 A.M. at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Rev. Tim Reeves will officiate. VFW Posts 1189 and 539 will conduct military honors. Visitation will be on Monday 9 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
