Juanita Dugger
Juanita Dugger, 89, a former resident of
the Baptist Village died on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at her
daughter’s home in Prattville, Oklahoma. Juanita was born on
August 12, 1918 in Newsome, Texas to John and Lula (Calhoun)
Attaway. She married Cleamo Dugger in Long View, Texas on
November 10, 1944. Juanita enjoyed reading and crocheting.
She is survived by a son; Perry Cleamo Dugger of Tulsa,
Oklahoma, daughters; Lu Ann Jones and husband Gary of The
Colony, Texas, Judy Oxford of Mounds, Oklahoma, B.J. Jackson
and husband Troy of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Carolyn Fisher
and husband Loyd of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Rita Bortmes and
husband Cliff of Mounds, Oklahoma, nine grand children and
twenty great grand children. She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, a grandson; Jamey Jones, a
son-in-law; Cal Oxford, and a brother Paul Attaway.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March
5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Beggs,
Oklahoma where Juanita was a member. The Reverend Mike
Kennedy will officiate and pallbearers will be Chris Oxford,
Michael Jackson, Jon Jones, Lloyd Fisher, Jr. Monsa Dugger
and Troy Jackson. Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. at the Ft.
Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma. Viewing
will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M.
with the family present for visitation from 5:00 to 7:00
