Edna Mae Edmonds

Edna Mae Edmonds, 66, a resident of Morris, died in Morris on Sunday, June 19, 2005. She was born in Yale, Oklahoma on August 7, 1938 to F.L. and Rose Lee (Howell) Treat. She was married to Kenneth Edmonds April 2, 1957 in Morris, Oklahoma. Edna had worked as a CMA until her retirement. Her parents, two sisters; Jessee Grant and Dorothy Barnett and one brother Harold Treat preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband; Kenneth of the home, three sons; Stevie Carl Edmonds of Morris, Wesley Dean Edmonds of Yukon, Oklahoma and Kenny Lynn and wife Rena Edmonds of Hoffman, Oklahoma, four sisters; Marie Olive of Stillwell, Helen Mundt of Grand Island, Nebraska, Martha Nichols of Sand Springs and Cherry Hays of Tulsa, two brothers; Leon Treat and Wayne Treat both of Tulsa, and one granddaughter Marie Lynn Edmonds.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 2 pm at the Trinity Baptist Church in Morris. Pastor David Hamilton will officiate. Interment will be in the Hoffman Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday 10-8 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
