Duaine Farrill
Henry "Duaine" Farrill, longtime Okmulgee
resident died Monday, May 26, 2008 at the age of 74. He was born October 13,
1933 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Henry Duaine and Eva Farrill. He was a Veteran of
the United States Army serving in Korea. Duaine was a member of the Calvary
Baptist Church and VFW Post 1189. He enjoyed fishing and loved being with his
grandchildren. Duaine was a retired independent roofing and painting contractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lovita Webb, Kathleen Wright,
Joyce Jackson, Lou Dunham, Eve Arrighi and Betty Lee, and a brother, Paul
Farrill. Survivors include his children, Sharon Mills, Cheryl Ingram and husband
Tim, and Robert Farrill and wife Crystal, grandchildren, Angie and Cory Wells,
Tina and Joe Leitka, Jeff and Kodi Ledger, Timothy Ingram, Nathan and Kristen
Ingram, Zachary Ingram, Starlyn and Jeff Huffman, Christopher Farrill, three
step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and his brother Phillip Farrill,
all of Okmulgee. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2008
at the Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Lawrence Matlock officiating.
Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Nathan
Ingram, Zachary Ingram, Jeff Ledger, Tyler Allen, Paul Scott Farrill, and
Darrayl Jones. Military Honors will be conducted at the graveside by VFW Post
1189 of Okmulgee and VFW Post 539 of Henryetta. Arrangements are under the
direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
