Harold Woodson Ferguson

Harold Woodson Ferguson, resident of Okmulgee was born February 9, 1928 in Milfay, OK to Woodson and Bessie Ferguson. The Lord called him home August 18, 2005. He was married to Colleen Duncan Ferguson on August 20, 1993. Harold worked as a delivery driver. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. He spent many happy hours taking care of his cattle and working on the land. He liked nothing more than visiting with family and friends and telling stories. A friendly debate and discussions of opinions was also welcome.

He was preceded in death by his parents Woodson and Bessie Ferguson, his second wife Norma Vansickle Ferguson and grandson Laramie Grammar.

He survived by his beloved wife Colleen Duncan Ferguson of the home, his daughter Marilyn Ebrite and husband Harlon of Moore; Marilynís mother Florene Gaasch Ferguson of Mustang; Stepson Steve Grammer and wife Darlene of Mason; Step Daughters Deloris Grammer Stout, Bryan, OK, Shirley Dunn and husband Jerry of San Ramon, CA; Barbara Hollett and husband Bob of Bakersfield, CA seven grandchildren and one great grandson. His sister Edna Morris of Sapulpa and Nephew Jimmy Morris and wife Lisa of Beggs.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 23, 20005 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Dal Newberry officiating.

Viewing will be on Monday, August 22, 2005 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
