Brenda Carol Fisher, lifelong Beggs
resident, died Wednesday afternoon, April 2, 2008 at St.
John Medical Center in Sapulpa. She was 59 years of age.
Brenda was born August 13, 1948 in Okmulgee to the late
Buddy Herman and Lois Irene (Roe) Fisher. She was baptized
at the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Beggs High
School in 1966 and had worked for many years as a health
care provider, both in Beggs and Tulsa. Brenda enjoyed arts
and crafts and was the world’s biggest giver. In addition to
her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother,
Tommy Lee Fisher. Survivors include her sister, Neva Terry
and husband Harley of Jenks, a niece, Shannon Dotson of
Liberty Mounds, and three great nephews, David Stanley, Jr.
and Jacob Stanley, both of Liberty Mounds and Jared Replogle
of Coweta. She was also survived by her aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M.
Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Church of God of Prophecy in
Beggs with Reverend Bill Storie officiating, assisted by Mr.
Matt Raby. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be J.C. Hammer, Mark Roe, Johnny Fisher,
Josh Fisher, Billy Berry and Rick Roe. Friends may visit the
funeral home from 1-6 P.M. Sunday. Arrangements are under
the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
