Louise Roe "Lois" Fisher

Louise Roe "Lois" Fisher, 79, a lifetime Beggs resident passed away Monday, April 21, 2003 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1923 in Beggs, OK to Dewey and Emma (Pruitt) Roe. She married Buddy Fisher in Mounds in February 1941. Mrs. Fisher worked as a Pecan Processor with South West Pecans for over 25 Years. She loved to crochet and attended the First Assembly of God in Beggs. Her husband Buddy preceded her in death in July of 1988, others that preceded her in death are her parents, her sister Mattie Lucille Holden, three brothers Richard Travis Roe, Calvin Perry Roe, Billy Jack Roe and a son Tommy Lee Fisher.

Survivors include two daughters Neva Terry of Jenks, Brenda Fisher of Beggs, two brothers C.D. Roe of Beggs, Kenneth Roe of Okmulgee one sister Dorothy Fisher of Oilton, one grandchild and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, April 24, 2003 at the Church of God of Prophecy with the Reverend Bill Story and Reverend Wallace Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs, OK.

Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Beggs from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2003.

Casketbearers will be Mark Roe, Jeff Roe, Kreg Ward, Bryan Ward, Kenneth Fisher, Glenn Roe, Dewey Roe and Rick Roe.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Clyde Holden, Bob Holden, John Fisher and David Roe.
