Syble Fleetwood

Syble Juanita Fleetwood left this life to be with our Lord on October 22, 2008 . Born June 18, 1923, she was 85.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Bub" Fleetwood, two sons, Mitchell Wayne Fleetwood and Gary Lynn Feetwood, a daughter, Rhonda Jane Fleetwood and a sister Barbara Looney.

She leaves behind a strong and eternal legacy of Love. Three sisters, Esther Cargola, Freda Prevett, Lvonne Kilgore and her husband Charles. Three brothers, Obie Brown and wife Virginia, Odee Brown and wife Bonnie, Sam Bown and wife Eula. A daughter Gaila and husband Marion Branson Jr. Eight grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also has three great great-grandchildren.

Syble was a tremendous, loving and caring soul and a long time member of Faith Baptist Church, pastor Everett Lerch. She was greatly loved and respected by all whose lives she touched. She will be dearly by her friends and family. A very strong and faithful servant of the Lord and to her family. She lived a beautiful life and her legacy will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 2 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 1000 N. Grand in Okmulgee under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Pastors Everett Larch and Jack Vance will officiate. Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home 10-5 pm on Thursday.
