McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without Compromise"
Gregory Joe Foy Gregory Joe Foy, longtime Beggs resident,
died Saturday morning, June 2, 2007 at his home in Beggs at
the age of 46. He was born April 21, 1961 in Clinton,
Oklahoma to Jasper and Yvonne (Montgomery) Foy. He graduated
from Beggs High School in 1980 and attended Tulsa Welding
School where he became a certified welder. Greg Confessed
Christ at an early age and was Baptized by Elder Matt
Roberson. He was brought up in the House of Prayer. He
enjoyed old cars and being with friends and family.
Preceding him in death were his father, a brother, Anthony
Montgomery, maternal grandparents, Lucille Ross and I.G.
Montgomery, step-grandfather, Levi Ross, and paternal
grandparents, Margaret and Jessie Foy. Left to cherish his
memory are his mother, Yvonne Foy, of the home, daughter,
Jada Louise Foy of Beggs, brothers, Alcardio Foy (Pam) of
Beggs, Travis E. Foy (Shelley) of Oklahoma City and Richard
E. Foy (Melva) of Beggs, a sister, Cassandra C. Lewis of
Tulsa, aunts May Spears of Spencer, Gwen Lewis, DeAndra
Cullom, and Chlotele Ellis, all of Beggs, uncles, Jessie Foy
of Oklahoma City, Tommy Ross of Dallas and Wendelle Ross of
Okmulgee and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral
services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at
the First Baptist Church of Beggs, 5th and Osage.
Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery. Friends may
visit the funeral home from 9-8 P.M. on Friday. Arrangements
are entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
