Frances "Jeanette" Garrison

Frances "Jeanette" Garrison, 65, of Okmulgee passed away Monday, July 19, 2004, at a Tulsa hospital. She was born November 21, 1938 in Obion County, TN to John and Ovella (Hawks) Carney. She married Hubert "Hugh" Garrison. Mrs. Garrison worked as a waitress most of her life her and her husband own the Wonder Waffle in Okmulgee.

Her parents John and Ovella Carney, one brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Hugh Garrison a daughter Debbie Ridge of Tulsa, a son Chris Garrison of Okmulgee, a daughter Melanie Graham of Sand Springs, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two brothers Fred Carney of Union City, TN and Jack Carney of Greenville, TX and a sister Virginia Powell of Roundlake, IL

Viewing is going to be on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee from 12 noon until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services for Mrs. Garrison will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Reverend Jeff Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

Casketbearers will be Larry Simpson, Larry Lay, Al Glass, Ron Grummitt, Angelo Gregorio, Ralph Suiter, Charlie Sanders, Rick Guffy, Larry Palmer, Carl Goodwin and Steve Kimper.
