Shirley Gibson 66 of Okmulgee died in Okmulgee on Wednesday, November 06, 2002. She was born on February 12, 1936 near Webbers Falls, Oklahoma to James Virgil and Odessa (Kirby) Tadlock. She retired July 1997. Shirley owned and operated Shirley’s Café for a number of years in Okmulgee. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. Her father James Tadlock preceded her in death.
Surviving is Charlie Gibson of the home, one son Blaine Aldridge and wife Julie, two sisters Betty Dewall and husband Stan, Mary Davis and husband Charlie, her mother Odesa Moore, one brother O.D. Moore and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2002 at 2 pm in the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Paul Brown officiating. There will be no visitation.
