Patrick (Pat) Giulioli

Patrick (Pat) Giulioli 70, resident and longtime resident of Okmulgee died in Tulsa on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Pat was born November 25, 1936 in Arnold, Pennsylvania to A. Louis and Katherine (Kelly) Giulioli.

Pat worked in the glass industry beginning at PPG Industries in Henryetta, Ok for nine years and American Window Glass in Okmulgee for five years as a glasscutter. He and his wife of 50 years, Arlene, founded Pat’s Archery and Sports Center and in their 33 years of ownership, developed it into Oklahoma’s largest archery center. Pat was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He became the foremost archery and deer-hunting expert in Oklahoma and was recognized nationally as a pioneer in big game archery hunting. Pat will be missed greatly by his family and friends, but especially by his wife Arlene, who was his closest friend, hunting and life companion. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okmulgee. Pat was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Katherine Giulioli and a granddaughter Amber Van Gundy.

Pat married Arlene Munford on October 19, 1957 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. They were the proud parents of four children, Dana Henson and husband Damon of Dallas, TX, Dianne Babb and husband Alan of Ada, OK, Dawn Hobbs and husband Tommy of Okmulgee and Kelly Giulioli of Okmulgee, eight grandchildren, Chase and Tyler Ashley, Kelsey Vangundy, Braxton and Brady Huckabee, Baylen Giulioli, Heath and Ashley Hobbs, great granddaughters, Kylee Hobbs and Saylor Smith, three nieces, Jamie Hornburg, Melanie Hodge, Amy Royse and two nephews, Brian Summers and Brad Giulioli.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 12, 2007 by Fr. Martin Morgan at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. There will be no visitation. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat’s name be made to the St. Anthony Altar Society, P.O.
