McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without compromise"
* * * M I N I S T E R ‘ S O B I T U A R Y * * * Robert F. "Bob" Hankins, Okmulgee, passed away Wednesday morning, September 11, 2002 at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. He was born May 16, 1930 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Louie E. and Minnie Ola (Clay) Hankins. He married Betty Shackleford on November 12, 1949 in Carnegie. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had attended Central State College in Edmond. He had lived in New Mexico, California and then Okmulgee, and had been a self employed as a carpenter. Mr. Hankins was a member of the Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge, Elk’s Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Okmulgee. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2002 at the First Baptist Church of Okmulgee. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters funeral Home of Okmulgee.
