McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without Compromise"
Lawrence Sanford Harrison Lawrence Sanford Harrison, longtime
Okmulgee resident, died Saturday morning, August 11, 2007 at
Highland Park Manor. He was 88 years of age. Mr. Harrison
was born September 2, 1918 in Hitchita, Oklahoma to George
S. and Emma (Kitchen) Harrison. He was a farmer and later
became a welder, retiring from the City of Okmulgee Vehicle
Maintenance Department. He was preceded in death by his
parents, wife, Flora, a sister, Mildred Crawford,
step-daughter, Shirley Custer, step-son, J.D. Terrell and a
nephew, Larry Crawford. Survivors include his daughter, Judy
Hahne and husband Eddie of Okmulgee, step-daughter, Carolyn
Gannaway and husband Jim of Okmulgee, step son-in-law, Oscar
Custer of Okemah, grandchildren, Sheri Hayes and husband
Greg of May, Oklahoma and Randy Hahne and wife Laura of
Beggs, three great grandchildren, Holly and Alison Hayes and
Erik Hahne, six step-grandchildren, ten step great
grandchildren, two step-great great grandchildren and
numerous friends and other relatives. A funeral service will
be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the
McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Richard
Cogan officiating. Interment will follow in the Lackey
Cemetery in Hitchita. Casketbearers will be Greg Hayes,
Randy Hahne, Erik Hahne, John Vierling, Bobby Adams, and
Monroe Palmer. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday
from 12-8 P.M. Arrangements are under the direction of the
