Robert Hayes II

 

Robert Clark Hayes II, 76, died November 20. Robert was born on October 16, 1931 in Beggs to Robert C. Hayes Sr. and Ann May (Clark) Hayes. Robert is survived by two sons; Clark Hayes and wife Cynthia and Kent Hayes and wife Donna, both of Ponca City, one daughter; Karin Small and husband Eldon of Okmulgee, two step daughters; Sandra Larocco and husband Mike of Pleasant Valley, Oklahoma, Debbie McDaniel and husband Ron of Beggs, eight grandchildren; Stacy, Brad, Cody, Christopher, Robbie, Jason, Jarrod, and Madeleine and four great-grandchildren Erika, Paysia, Payton, and Jasper. His parents, his wives Le Etta Sober and Ruby J. Hayes and one grandson, Christopher, preceded him in death. He was a Korean War Veteran and lifelong member of the VFW. Robert retired from Conoco Oil Company in Ponca City and the City of Okmulgee’s animal control division and was a member of the Cornerstone Four Square Church. Services will be held at the Cornerstone Four Square Church on Monday, November 26, at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Jim Birch officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris Cemetery with graveside military rites. Services are under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
