Mary Louise Holden

Mary Louise Holden, 82, lifetime resident of Beggs passed away at her home on February 20, 2005. She was born on March 13, 1922 in Beggs to Albert Sydney and Sarah Gertrude (Jamerson) Pittman. She married Esco Franklin Holden on August 17, 1940. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Beggs and the Osage Home Extension. She loved to Crochet and Quilt.

Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by her husband Esco F. Holden on February 8, 1972, a daughter Jackie Holden, her parents Albert and Sarah Pittman, a brother Floyd Pittman and a sister Ann Beaman.

Survivors include her son Ray E. Holden of Beggs, four daughters, Barbara L. Culbert of Mounds, Coweta Holdaway of Beggs, Vera Tucker of Nuyaka and Ella Dunagan of Beggs, sixteen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren, three brothers Lloyd Pittman, Lester Pittman, Don Pittman, and four sisters Maxine Swearingin, Jean Eaton, Delores Gish, and Billie Sue Shall.

Graveside services will be on 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the Beggs Cemetery with Pastor Chad Eades of the Nuyaka Baptist Church officiating with Reverend Bill Storie assisting. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs. Viewing was Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Homes Chapel.
