Thelma Mae Holden, 80, longtime resident of Beggs, died Friday evening, March 16, 2007 at St. Johns Medical Center in Sapulpa. She was born August 27, 1926 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma to James and Minnie (Cottrell) Rouse. She worked for many years in Tulsa and enjoyed bowling and being with her family. Thelma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Holden, her parents, a son, Johnny Wayne Holden and five brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Fultz of Beggs, two grandsons, Joe Fultz of Pryor and Jeff Fultz of Tulsa, a granddaughter, Dawn Aldridge of Beggs, three great grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph and Joshua, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Beggs Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 12-5 P.M. and on Thursday 9-1:30.
