McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without Compromise"
Sandra Jean Holderness Sandra Jean Holderness 69, a resident of Okmulgee, died in
Tulsa on Friday, February 2, 2007. Sandra was born in Garden City, Kansas on
August 14, 1937 to Willard H. and Helen L. (Jay) Keune. She married Frank
Holderness in Garden City Kansas on April 12, 1955. Sandra was an active member
of the Trinity Lutheran Church and many of its organizations, such as the Altar
Guild and Woman’s Group. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband Frank of the home, two sons;
Brian and wife Mary Holderness of St. Louis, Missouri, Mitchell and wife Tammy
Holderness of Begs, one sister Karen Mowdy of Okmulgee, two brothers Phillip
Keune of Wichita, Kansas, Willard Keune Jr. of Toledo, Ohio, an aunt Jane Graves
of Bartlesville, Oklahoma a nephew Breck Mowdy and wife Dawn of Okmulgee, five
grandchildren; Jennifer Holderness, Andrew Holderness Nikki Sowder, Kyle
Holderness Aaron Holderness and Blake Mowdy. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 2
p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Okmulgee. Rev. Myles Schultz will
officiate. Burial will be in the Beggs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 12-8
p.m. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. The family suggests
memorials be made in her name to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
