Peggy Jean "MiMi" Hopper

Peggy Jean "MiMi" Hopper was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas to James and Ernestine Webb. On April 11, 1952 she married David Hopper in Ft. Smith Arkansas. They spent their first two years in Las Vegas and moved back to Oklahoma after the birth of their first child. Peggy enjoyed life in the same house on North Collins for 44 years. She is survived by her husband of over 54 years, David Hopper. Her four children, Linda Hopper Graham, David F. Hopper, Gaylynn Hopper Blackley, and Michael W. Hopper. Nine grandchildren, Angela J. Byars, David Lee Hopper, David Ray Brown, Steven D. Hopper, Shelley ODonley, Kenny Hopper, Jesse Graham, Michael Hopper and Kim Blackley. Three Great Grandchildren, Eric Byars, Lily Byars and Destiny ODonley.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one grandson John c. Blackley.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Rev Jimmie Ledgerwood of new Life Assembly and Rev. Dennis Taylor of First Baptist Church will officiate. There will be a closed casket.

Pallbearers will be her six grandsons.
