Steven Ray Jones

          Steven Ray Jones died in Okmulgee on July 21, 2009.  He was 29 years old.  Steven was born on November 11, 1979 in Plano, Texas to Larry Ray and Nancy Ann (Ingram) Jones.  On March 10, 2000 he married Kim Pope in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  In August of 2008, he and his family moved to Okmulgee from Dennison, Texas where they had lived since marriage.  Steven enjoyed watching sports and going camping.  He loved the guitar, computer games but mostly time with his sons.

          Steven is survived by his wife, Kim, two sons; Steven Ray Jones, Jr. and Andrew Jones, one daughter Tori Elkins, and an unborn son due in November, all of the home.  He is also survived by his parents, a brother, Carl Lowrance of Olympia, Washington, a sister, Jessica Ingram of Texas, paternal grandmother, Fay Jones, an Uncle Gary Jones, an Aunt Susan Stanbery all of Dennison, Texas and a host of other family and friends.

          Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.  Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery.  Friends may visit the funeral home form noon until 8:00 P.M.
