Ruth Neville Kenney 94, longtime Okmulgee resident died in Okmulgee on Thursday, August 17, 2006. She was born on August 21, 1911 in Vinita, Oklahoma To Clarence S. and Cora Jane (Neville) Idsardi. Ruth was a talented artist and was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter ER and the First Presbyterian Church in Okmulgee. She was married to Edward Kenney on May 20, 1939 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Edward preceded her in death as well as two brothers Clarence Idsardi and Bob Idsardi and her parents.

Surviving is one sister Mary Rose and husband Carl of Collinsville, Oklahoma a nephew Richard Rose of Pflugerville, Texas and a niece Mary Carl of Carson City, Nevada and many dear friends.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 2 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Rev. Jeffrey B. Cranton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday 12-8 pm. Condolences may be sent at mcclendon-winters.com.
