McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without Compromise"
Eva Mae Koerner Eva Mae Koerner, lifelong area resident, died Thursday morning, May 18, 2006 at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. She was 85 years of age. Mrs. Koerner was born May 31, 1920 in Morris to Lewis and Allie (Jackson) Patrick. She began working as a unit secretary at Doctor’s Hospital in 1966 and retired as a nursing assistant from Hillcrest Medical Center. She was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Aaron, Charles, Louie, and Fred and two sisters, Irish and Rena. Survivors include her husband, Herman Koerner of Okmulgee, two sons, Jackie McElhannon and wife Patty of Bonita Springs, Florida and Roy. H. Koerner and wife MaryAnn of Castle Rock, Colorado, a sister, Anna Mangrum of Okmulgee, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday from 12-8 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home chapel. A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Raymond Doke officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. www.mcclendon-winters.com
