Marvin William Manns

Marvin William Manns, 73, of the Wilson area passed away in Tulsa at Saint Francis Hospital. He was born October 26, 1929 in Dardanelle, AR to Lawson and Elsie (Branson) Manns. He later married Mary Jo Mann February 8, 1948 in Searcy County, AR. Mr. Manns was a truck driver and farmer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawson and Elsie Manns and one grandson Donnie Crawford.

Survivors include three daughters Virginia and husband Mitch Porcelli of Red Oak, OK, Carolyn Burgess of Wilson, Lorraine Conner of Wilson, two sons Jack and wife Patsy Manns of Wilson, and Jimmy and wife Debbie Manns of Okmulgee, twelve grandchildren five great-grandchildren two sisters Joyce West of Denver, CO and Aline Hendrix of Snowball AR. He was loved by all.

Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 28, 2003 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee, OK with the Reverend Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilson Salt Creek Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Casketbearers will be Eddie Hendrix, Jon Burgess, Jeff Mahan, Jamie Mahan, J.R. Branson and Gene Branson. Other Casketbearers will be DeRay Griggs, Pete Mahan and Larry Branson.
