Wade Lawrence Mayden 45, a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, died in Tulsa on Friday, March 2, 2007. Wade was born in Okmulgee on November 19, 1961 to Edwin Lawrence and Nancy Lee (Garner) Mayden. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1979. Wade was employed by the Polyvision Company in Okmulgee and enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors. His parents and a brother Eddie Mayden preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter; Stacy and her husband Kyle Brannon of Morris, a brother; Jimmy Mayden of Okmulgee, two sisters; Melissa Mayden of Los Angeles, California and Kristy Mayden of Okmulgee.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee with Dr. Dennis Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday at the church, 12 P.M. until service time.
