"Ossie" Claude Oscar McDonald

"Ossie" Claude Oscar McDonald, Okmulgee resident, died Monday, December 26, 2005 at the age of 61. He was born November 20, 1944 to the late Claude and Fay (Odom) McDonald in Okmulgee. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the guided missile destroyer the U.S.S. Goldsborough and was a pipeliner. Survivors include three brothers, Thomas McDonald of Eufaula, Billy McDonald of Henryetta, and Robert McDonald of Preston, three sisters, Connie McDonald of Okmulgee, Berta Effinger of Oklahoma City, and Debra Prideaux of Claremore, Ossie’s best friend, Rocky Lee, sixteen nieces and nephews, Rhonda Laughlin, Dana Witt, Serenina Steph, Brandi Steph, Chad McDonald, and Bobby McDonald, two great nephews and two great nieces. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 30, 2005 at the home of his sister, Connie McDonald, 15254 N. 247 Road in Okmulgee. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
